NEAR ETNA, Calif. — Law enforcement in Southern Oregon and Northern California are cracking down in illegal marijuana grow operations some raids have brought in thousands of plants.
The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office teamed with officers from Jackson County to raid a grow operation outside Etna on Friday.
The teams seized around 5,000 pot plants, but said the suspects were able to escape. The Sheriff’s Office said the evidence points to the site being a cartel operation.
