Possible Robbery Investigated In Medford

MEDFORD, Ore. — A suspect is on the lose after authorities said he tried to rob a retail store, but decided against it when the clerk told him about surveillance cameras.

Medford Police said a man came into Vivas Fashions on Main Street on Thursday. He told the employee he needed money and put bolt cutters on the counter. When the clerk told the man there were cameras capturing the store, he said he was “just kidding,” and left.

Police are now looking for the man. He is described as: a white male adult in his mid-20’s with a receding hair line, shaved head and light brown hair. He is described as having a disfigured nose and missing teeth.
