Possible New Henley Elementary

KLAMATH COUNTY, Ore. – Voters in the Klamath County School District will decide next May whether to build a new Henley Elementary School.

Last week the district’s board of directors voted to put a $30 million bond measure on the ballot to build a school and make improvement to several other buildings. Those improvements include fire alarms systems and roof repairs.

Superintendent Greg Thede estimates a $30 million bond would cost voters about 49 cents per thousand assessed value over a 20 year period.
