Police Seek Knife Attack Suspect


WHITE CITY, Ore. – Jackson County officials are looking for a Medford man after learning he pulled a knife on an individual near Highway 62 and Agate Road in White City Thursday morning.

The suspect has been identified as 39-year old William Whipple, who reportedly became distressed after the individual walked on his camp to speak with him. Whipple then pulled the knife out and tried swiping it across the man’s upper body. The victim fled the scene and contacted police.

Whipple is approximately 5’10”, 180 pounds, with long black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black pants and a black shirt.
