MEDFORD, Ore. — The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man they say is a career criminal. 55-year-old Robin Lee Workman of Gold Hill is the suspect in several burglaries and motor vehicle thefts. He also has several warrants out for his arrest.
Last week, Northgate Auto Sales reported an unknown suspect stole a white, 1997 Dodge Dakota off its lot. The suspect cut the chain-linked fence to access the property. Once on the property the suspect smashed the back driver’s side window, and was able to get inside the truck.
Later on that same day, Central Point Police Department identified the truck at a residence located in the 300 block of north 6th Street in Central Point. When Central Point police officers approached the home, witnesses inside said Workman had taken the truck and left it there prior to law enforcement arrival.
The sheriff’s office says Workman has been identified through video surveillance, witness statements, and fingerprints collected at crime scenes as the suspect in numerous burglaries and motor vehicle thefts. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with any information about Robin Workman and his whereabouts to please call the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office tip line at 541-774-8333 or Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon at 1-800-850-0580.
