Police Search for Suspected Burglar

ACME BurlgarMEDFORD, Ore. — Medford Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying an alleged suspect in a burglary.

Police say, on Monday morning around 8 a.m., an unknown suspect was able to access the ACME Computers building on 16 N. Riverside by unknown means.

The building is occupied by other businesses, which all have locked interior doors. Video shows the suspect walking up and down the hallway, checking doors.

Police said the suspect then kicks open the door to ACME computers and makes off with $1,700 worth of property. The property included cash and unique computer repair tools.

The suspect is described as a man in his 30s, with a stocky build and a trimmed goatee. He was seen wearing a light blue beanie hat, green hoody sweatshirt, baggy shorts and dark shoes.

Police are releasing surveillance footage in hopes someone will recognize the suspect.
