JOSEPHINE COUNTY, Ore. — Investigators are working on a case involving a non-fatal shooting at an unknown location in Josephine County early Saturday morning. The Josephine County District Attorney’s Office and Oregon State Police (OSP) are working together on the case.
At around 6:30 a.m. Saturday, police say a 19-year-old man suffering from two gunshot wounds was dropped off at the Three Rivers Community Hospital emergency room in Grants Pass. Hospital employees called law enforcement and detectives responded to investigate. Clyde McDonald is from Cave Junction and he is still in the hospital getting treated for his injuries.
Early investigative efforts haven’t led to an identification of where the shooting happened or who is responsible.
