Police Investigate Christmas Eve Robbery

Police Arrest Stabbing SuspectMEDFORD, Ore. — Medford Police say a man was robbed and stabbed in the leg on Christmas Eve.

The victim told police he was walking on Merriman Road at around 8:40 p.m. on December 24th when he was approached by two men who briefly engaged in conversation with him before they suddenly began assaulting him.

Medford Police say the victim did not see a weapon, but when the suspects ran off, he had a stab wound to his leg and he was missing his bag which contained miscellaneous property.

Two independent witnesses saw the altercation and saw the suspects running northbound on Merriman Road. The witnesses described them as white males in their early 20s. Medford Police say the victim was treated and released for his stab wound.
