Police Conduct Domestic Violence Sweep

arrestMEDFORD, Ore. — October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and on Wednesday night, Medford Police conducted a “round up” of people wanted on domestic violence charges.

Medford Police say police officers and Jackson County Community Corrections Officers visited a total of 27 residences Wednesday night, looking for over 30 domestic violence offenders with either active arrest warrants or probation violations.

In addition to the seven subjects arrested for domestic violence charges or probation violations, Medford Police say two others were arrested for non-domestic violence offenses. The Medford Police have released names of those arrested.
