Slightly warmer temperatures will bring a beautiful and sunny Saturday, while a dry “cool front” will drop temperatures by a couple of degrees on Sunday. The skies will still be sunny on Sunny.
Next week, the high pressure gains even more strength; and hot air from Nevada and California will rush northward by Tuesday and Wednesday…spreading over Northern California and Southern Oregon…bringing the hottest temperatures of the season.
Towards the end of the week, a little Monsoonal moisture will trickle northward, and bring spotty thunderstorms to the Sierra, Siskiyous, Cascades and other mountain areas late in the week. Temperatures will likely cool back to the 80’s at that time, but early June average temperatures are in the upper 70’s, so we will stay above normal for the next week.
