MEDFORD, Ore. — A Medford construction company will begin work on a new facility for Medford police.
The Medford City Council awarded a $523,400 contract to Adroit Construction to begin work on the police department’s new property control facility. That building would house evidence for Medford Police.
Medford City councilors said they were pleased with the process of selecting the company.
“We tried to vet all proposals. We’re very satisfied,” said Bob Strosser. “Some of the proposals are very close, but I think it did well,”
The new evidence facilty would create more storage space, and free up additional space in the department’s existing property building.
