MEDFORD, Ore. — Dozens of animals in Jackson County will get the help they need to find a home. The Grange Co-Op’s yearly pet fashion show raised more than $9,000, nearly double what they raised in the previous year.
The money will go directly to the Friends of the Animal Shelter and benefit the Jackson County Animal Shelter. On Tuesday the Grange Co-Op presented the check to FOTAS. The organization said the dollars will help continue the shelter’s programs and pay for medical bills.
“It’ll help our spay neuter efforts with snip, it’ll help with the medical fund, we got a lot of dogs and cats that come in that need medical help in order to remain adoptable,” said President of FOTAS Peggy Moore.
The pet fashion show is in its 7th year. In total, the event has raised more than $34,000.
