KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — Klamath County District Attorney’s Office says they no longer need the public’s help in contacting a person of interest in a murder investigation case.
On Wednesday, the Crime Team identified James Collins as a person of interest and requested the public’s help locating him. The Major Crime Team is now in contact with Collins and no longer needs the public’s help.
The District Attorney’s Office says Collins is currently being held at the Klamath County Jail on charges not related to the Saechao investigation. Collins continues to be a person of interest in the Saechao investigation.
28-year old Cheng Sio Saechao was found dead on South Chiloquin Road near Highway 62 on the evening of August 26. His death was ruled a homicide. You can read more about the murder investigation here.
