MEDFORD, Ore.– Pear Blossom organizers say this year may have been the best event in it’s history.
They are still crunching the exact numbers, but organizers estimate there were about 15,000 to 18,000 people in attendance at the street fair. They say there was about 12,000 last year.
With the addition of the amphitheater and grass area by the stage, organizers say there seemed to be a little something for everyone this year. They say the demographics seem to prove it, with every age group heading out to enjoy the events.
The number of venders increased from just about 90 to 150 this year. Organizers say vendors are already signing up for booth space next year.
