It’s going to be another cold one. Temperatures this evening will drop into the mid 30’s along the Coast, the upper 20’s and low 30’s in the Valley, the upper teens for the Basin, and the mid 20’s for Siskiyou County. A frost advisory and freeze warning are in place for the Coastline. Patchy fog will develop this evening in the valleys.
Spotty showers are still developing along the Cascades, with cloud cover over the East Side, but by midnight there should be clearing. The showers on the other hand, will continue to develop in the higher terrain through tomorrow, however they will be light and also very spotty. Little to no accumulation is expected.
The cooler temperatures in the higher elevations will begin to shift eastward into the weekend as the upper trough does so as well. Seasonable temperatures are expected into the start of the weekend, with above normal temperatures by Sunday. The Valley & Siskiyou County will see the mid 60’s come the second half of the weekend, and the East Side the mid 50’s.
High pressure will continue to sit over the Pacific & Northwest through Tuesday. Enjoy the beautiful weather!
