MT. HOOD, Ore. – The parents of an Oregon teen who was killed in a snowboarding accident are suing the ski area where it happened.
17-year-old Taylor Dewolf’s parents are asking the ski bowl resort on Mount Hood for $500,000. They say their daughter was unaware of how dangerous the trail she died on was, because it was listed as “intermediate.”
Dewolf’s parents are asking ski bowl to improve the run and access to documents from the resort’s accident investigation. In response, ski bowl said it was not possible to respond that request from the family.
