NEAR EAGLE POINT, Ore. -- Circus of Screams, Southern Oregon's newest haunted house opens Friday night, and is set up with more than 5,000 square feet of haunts.

Organizers are taking food donations that will go to the ACCESS Food Bank, who last year collected over 900 pounds of food. Bringing a non-perishable food item will get you $2 off the entry fee.

"Our goal is to do double that this year, 'cause they're really in big need this year. So, we hope folks will bring a canned food. And if they forget, I will have extras on hand that they can purchase for 50 cents," says Circus of Screams Coordinator Julie Ball.

Part of the proceeds will also go to support the Oregon Conservatory of Performing Arts and the Eagle Point High School Wrestling Team.

The house opens Friday at 6:30 p.m. It is located at 9512 Highway 62 between White City and Eagle Point. It will be open for tours through November 1st starting every night at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $7.
