Wednesday at the Willows
1/2 orange, cut into 3 wedges
1/2 lime, cut into 3 wedges
2 teaspoons sugar
1 or 2 sprigs fresh spearmint
2 1/2 ounces white rum (or orange flavored rum)
1 cup crushed ice
Put the oranges, limes, sugar, and mint in a large tall glass. Muddle until juicy and fragrant. Add the rum and ice. Cover with a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously, or stir, until combined and chilled, about 30 seconds. Top glass with club soda. Serve/stir with a sugar cane stick.
