Car Crashes Into A Home Overnight

MEDFORD, Ore.– A man is in the hospital after Medford Police say he crashed his car into a West Medford home on Columbus Avenue just after midnight.

Officers say he was intoxicated when they found him and he walked away from the accident carrying a gun. They arrested him at a nearby location, after they believe he dropped the gun he was carrying at his home.

He was transported to the hospital with serious but not life-threatening injures. Police say he will be charged with DUII, hit and run and reckless driving. No one in the home was injured.
