MEDFORD, Ore.  — The work of a Southern Oregon artist will be featured as part of a long-running benefit event this weekend. The 35th annual Sagebrush Rendezvous and Beer and Wine Tasting Party will be held on Saturday and Sunday at the Running Y Ranch Convention Center near Klamath Falls.

The work of award winning artistn, Carl Seyboldt, will be the featured. The event runs from 10AM to 6PM on both days, with beer and wine tasting from 2 to 5.

The quck draw contest is on Saturday and there will also be door prize drawings. Tickets are $10 and a Carl Seyboldt signed print will be given to the first 500 ticket holders to attend.

The Children’s Advocacy Center’s Annual Winter Gala will be held this upcoming Saturday, January 26 at the Rogue Valley County Club. The theme is “On the Boardwalk” and the event will include a social hour, live and silent auctions, dinner, wine, music, and fun boardwalk-type games to enjoy, all in support of the center’s services to youth who have been abused.

In 2012, the center served 1,069 children and teens who had been abused . Those attending this community event will help support the on-going work of the Children’s Advocacy Center. Tickets can be purchased on the center’s website or by calling Michelle Wilson at (541) 734-5437.

Brides-to-be have another chance to get the help they need to plan a perfect ceremony. Over 50 of Southern Oregon’s high quality wedding professionals will be on hand this Friday and Saturday at the Jackson County Fairground to help wedding planning couples carry out their special day. Register for gifts and get tips from the experts all gathered under one roof. This weekend’s bridal show is Friday from 4PM to 9PM and Saturday from 10AM to 5PM. Admission is just $2.
