For nearly eighty years, the songs of George and Ira Gershwin have been delighting music lovers.
Now, over forty-two classic songs by the beloved Gershwin brothers are being featured in “’S Wonderful” a new all-singing, all-dancing revue at the Oregon Cabaret Theater, but this is no standard revue.
The songs weave throughout in several mini-musicals set in different eras, New York City in 1928, New Orleans in 1957, Paris in 1939 and Hollywood in 1948, each telling its own story. The intoxicating melodies are also punctuated with plenty of exciting dance.
“‘S Wonderful” plays at the Oregon Cabaret Theater in Ashland through November 3rd. Dinner packages are available. Contact the theater box office for ticket information.
