Spotlight on Linda Ronstadt

She is known as the “Queen Of Rock” and now her life and trailblazing musical career is in the spotlight. The Camelot Theatre Company in Talent presents “Spotlight On Linda Ronstadt”.

From rock to country to Broadway and jazz, the versatile singer’s smoky voice haunted fans for decades. Now Laurelia Derocher is bringing Ronstadt’s music and life story to the Camelot Stage. “Spotlight On Linda Ronstadt” runs through September 23. Talent Art and Music Fest

Friday night, it’s a celebration of local arts, music, food and drink at the talent art and music festival.

Visitors can enjoy a relaxing stroll while taking in the sights and sounds along the streets. Pick up a brochure and collect stamps from Talent businesses for a chance to win $200 in “Talent Bucks”. The event kicks off at 5 p.m. Admission is free.

Vintage Fair In Medford

Head down to the site where the Extreme Makeover home was built a year ago if you like funky junk, antiques or just cool home and garden goods. Its the First Annual. Shop vintage, antique, home and garden vendors from around the Northwest, and enjoy food, music and wine tasting.

Barnstormer farm is at 2255 Coker Butte Road. The sale runs tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 or $3 with a canned food item. Kids 12 and under are free.

Homeowner’s Show At The Expo

Don’t forget the Jackson County Home Builders fall home show! It’s all weekend at the fairgrounds in Central Point and will feature all sorts of contractors, home improvement experts, and workshops.

Pirates at ScienceWorks

Its ScienceWork’s Annual Pirate Weekend. Pirate Weekend begins Saturday and continues on Sunday. Festivities begin at 10 a.m. Just head over to ScienceWorks in Ashland.
