MEDFORD, Ore. — This weekend, a hit Broadway musical is bringing back the big sounds and big hair of the 1980’s and everything you need to plan the perfect wedding is all under one roof.
Pull on those leg warmers, turn up the boombox and shake loose that mullet. Everything we love about the ’80s is about to rock downtown Medford. On Friday night, the Craterian Theater presents the hit Broadway musical “Rock of Ages”. Featuring big egos, big guitar solos, and even bigger hair, “Rock of Ages” will have you laughing, rocking and singing along! It’s a high energy romp through the music and pop culture that made the ’80s a time to remember. One night only on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Craterian Theater. Jade Chavis Watt gives voice to the soulful tunes that made Etta James a jazz and blues icon. From gowns, to flowers, to food and more, the Southern Oregon Wedding Show is bringing it all together on Saturday and Sunday at the Medford Armory. Sign up for the raffle prize drawings held throughout both days, including a grand prize drawing at the end of the show and don’t miss the fashion shows held both days at 12:30 and 2:30. The show runs Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $2 or two non-perishable food items for ACCESS.
