MEDFORD, Ore. — From light festivals to visits with Santa…this weekend, the Christmas festivities are kicking off.
Join Santa as he visits Ashland to flip the switch for the Festival of Light. This celebration of the season includes a parade, the lighting of thousands of twinkling lights throughout Ashland, visits with Santa and special deals and treats throughout town. The Festival of Lights is this Friday at 5:00 p.m. in downtown Ashland.
Medford the Winter Lights Festival will be held for the first time at Pear Blossom Park enjoy a visit from Santa, with a chance for photos, the Christmas Tree Lighting, prizes for the kids and live performances…there is even a candy cane hunt.
Hope Equestrian’s Second Annual Wine, Dine and Shop is this weekend. Voorhies Mansion will host 30 local vendors and the wine and food will be served by Eden Vale Winery. You wine, dine, and shop Friday from 11 a.m. TO 4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 4:00. There is a $5.00 cover charge which will benefit Hope Equestrian.
All aboard for the Annual Railroad Show! Get your fix of tracks and trains at the Medford Armory this weekend. The event sponsored by the Rogue Valley Model Railroad Club features operating model trains of all sizes and historic railroad artifacts, workshops and seminars. There are lots of raffle prizes, too!
