MEDFORD, Ore. — This weekend marks the beginning of Southern Oregon’s premier event celebrating local and regional craft beers.

The Third Annual Medford Beer Week is a city-wide celebration of the craft beer industry. It all starts on Saturday with the “Brews, Burgers and Bluegrass” kick-off event at Hanley Farm from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Then, it’s an entire week featuring fifty beer tasting and special events that will take place at locations throughout the area. Be sure to cap off your beer week on Saturday, June 15th with a day-long festival in downtown Medford focusing exclusively on craft brewers.

Taste of Summer

JACKSONVILLE, Ore. — Britt Festivals is toasting the beginning of summer with the Annual “Taste Of Summer” Celebration.
The streets of Jacksonville will come alive Saturday with an afternoon of activities for adults and children alike. Look for live music on three stages and family activities on the courthouse grounds.

Enter the drawing for five hundred dollars in Jacksonville gift certificates don’t go anywhere because you must be present to win. Enjoy street performers, a display of classic cars, and beginning at 8 a.m. weather permitting, hot air balloon rides at Bigham Knoll.

Admission is free, though there are extra charges for some special events. The “taste of summer” event is in Jacksonville on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

“Nunsensations” at the Oregon Cabaret Theatre

ASHLAND, Ore. — The Little Sisters of Hoboken are back are ready for their most glamorous adventure ever!

It’s “Nunsensation – The Nunsense Las Vegas Revue” at the Oregon Cabaret Theatre, in Ashland. All of your favorite Nunsense characters are back and, this time, they’re all on board to entertain in the unlikeliest of places — Las Vegas.

The reverend mother has misgivings being in Sin City, but that doesn’t stop them from plunging into the land of sequins and razzle-dazzle with their usual style of one-liners mixed with faith, hope and hilarity.

The fun starts even before the show begins. Those arriving 45 minutes before curtain have time to enjoy playing bingo with the nuns and a chance to win exciting prizes!

“Nunsensations” opens this weekend and runs through August 25. Dinner and brunch packages are available by reservation.
