Man of La Mancha in Randall Theatre, Medford
Opening this weekend at Medford’s Randall Theatre, the “Man of La Mancha” takes to the stage on the ultimate quest to make the world a better place.
It’s the classic musical based on “the Adventures of Don Quixote”. The story is both entertaining and moving, and the musical score an inspiration as Don Quixote relates his personal credo in “the impossible dream”.
“Man of La Mancha” runs through September 15.
Ug, the Caveman Musical in Camelot Theatre, Talent
We don’t really know how the first play came to the stage but it just might have been something like this, as presented by the Camelot Theatre in “Ug, The Caveman Musical”
When Ug the Caveman decides to act out one of his many feats of bravery, the first dramatic performance is born. Soon, the entire tribe wants to get in on the act — and the result is a hilarious musical comedy, proving that even Neanderthal Theater may have had some modern-day challenges.
Ug, the Caveman Musical runs through September 22.
