Test out the value of the vine at this years Greatest of the Grape. The event at Seven Feathers Casino is the oldest wine event in the state.

An evening of indulgence awaits ticket holders with live music, a silent auction, and wine and food pairings, all featuring 28 Southern Oregon wineries, and 14 regional restaurants. Tickets start at $75 dollars.

Cat in the Hat Performance

With a little time and a clever rhyme Dr. Suess brought life to worlds and creatures beyond imagination. One of his most famous “The Cat in the Hat.”

In honor of the author and famous feline the committed alliance to strays is will celebrate Dr. Suess’s 104th birthday with a party. Everyone is welcome for refreshments, souvenirs and story time with C.A.T.S. cats.

The event is this Saturday from 1:00 – 3:00 at their location in south west Medford.

15th Annual Klamath Folk Tells Festival

If there is a child in your life then you probably already know that children can tell amazing stories.

The 15th Annual Klamath Folk Tells Festival is celebrating that with a free performance this Saturday. Winners from grades third through sixth will share their story telling talents at the Klamath County Library.

The students us costumes, props, gestures, dramatic voice and body movement to make tales come alive. The event is free and begins at 2:00.

“Girls Rock” at Grants Pass High School

The pre-teen years can be especially tough for girls, so the Grants Pass soroptimists club has created an all-day event just for them!

Girls that rock will be taking over the Grants Pass High School this Saturday. Young ladies ages 9 though 13 are invited along with a parent or adult to “Girls Rock”.

The girls can choose 5 workshops which cover everything from the ancient art of paper making to animal whispering, as well as engineering, dance, modeling, geology and self-defense, and for parents the best part – it’s completely free.

The all-day event begins at 9:00 and includes a key note speaker with a famous local female author. Things are growing and selling in Grants Pass. You can join this Saturday morning tradition from 9:00 to 1:00.

The Grants Pass Growers Market is the first outdoor market to open in Southern Oregon, even though it’s the first of March, you’ll find lots of fresh produce and homemade goodies including find it all at the intersection of F and 4th Streets.
