NewsWatch12 Sportsmen’s & Outdoor Recreation Show is taking over the fairground in Central Point.
The 14th annual event features hundreds exhibits for all ages, including the famous fish tank, where anyone can instantly become an expert angler. There’s also a zip line, the condor encounter, and a climbing wall.
Doors open Friday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Jackson County Expo.
Super heroes are putting their strength, endurance and hearts on the line this weekend, and you’re invited to join the “Hearts and Heroes” Run benefiting organizations that help homeless youth and at risk kids.
The fun run/walk celebrates the opening of the City Life Community Center in Medford. The one mile event starts at the new building right next to Medford’s Hearts with a Mission building.
Check-in is at 8:00 a.m., the race begins at 8:30 a.m. Don’t forget to wear your super hero best!
