In downtown Grants Pass on Saturday, there will be a cruise through time. It is the back to the 50’s classic car cruise.
Antique cars will be driving through downtown around 6th and 7th street. It will be start at 6 p.m. and end around 9:30 p.m.
Anyone interested in participating needs to pay and register ahead of time and organizers also say, cars should be from 1975 and older.
A memorable motion picture is making its way to the Randal Theater in Medford. It’s an adaptation of the film, “steel magnolias” where six friends bond together over mutual triumphs and tragedies.
Opening night is tomorrow with a jambalaya dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. Those tickets are $19. The show will continuing until August 11th with show times at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The Curry County Fair is also underway. Gold Beach is once again hosting one of the only beach front fairs in Oregon.
Carnival rides, food, and shows will continue until Sunday. Tomorrow is the Hillbilly Relay Race. The parade will be Saturday at 11 a.m., followed by Tuff Trucks Memorial Event. On Sunday there will be mud drag races
Adults are $7, children ages 6 to 12 are $2 and seniors are $5. Seniors are $3 today, kids are free tomorrow and Sunday is family fun day where 2 adults and 3 children can get in for $15.
This weekend is the 53rd Annual Southern Cascade Regatta, at Howard Prairie Lake. The Rogue Yacht Club is once again hosting the traditional boat sailing event.
On Saturday afternoon, the races will begin. Registration to enter starts at 9 a.m. Races will continue on Sunday as soon as the winds permit it. Saturday night a Mexican fiesta dinner will also be offered to race entrants, family, and yacht club members.
