MEDFORD, Ore. — A well-known group of performers is once again making a stop in southern Oregon for the holidays. “A Celtic Christmas” is returning to Medford’s Craterian Theater. This popular holiday show will transport you from Southern Oregon to a remote cottage in the west of Ireland.
A world-class ensemble of performers bring a thrilling blend of Irish Christmas songs and traditional music and dance as well as stories from the remote parish of Tempall, Ireland. “A Celtic Christmas” runs on Saturday at 3 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m. Contact the Craterian Theater soon as tickets are going fast.
A Rogue Valley Christmas tradition is lighting up the sky while bringing light into the lives those in need in our area. The 13th Annual Greystone Court Holiday Light Food Drive is powering up this weekend. Greystone Court in medford will be lined with sparkling as each home dazzles with spectacular lighting displays.
Visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items and cash donations for ACCESS. Greystone Court is located off North Phoenix Road in Medford. The light display and food collection runs friday through Christmas Eve from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.

In Central Point, a display previously on Ellen Street is now at 123 Ash Street behind the Grange Co-Op. See the nativity and tune in to FM 95.3 for music. Out in Eagle Point, look for 15,000 lights dancing in time to music on F.M. 93.1 on North Deanjou Drive, between Heather Way and Stonewater Drive.
In Medford, a popular display on East Jackson Street includes a Santa, penguins and other holiday characters that move and sing at the push of a button. On South Stage Road just east of Dark Hollow, 100,000 lights dancing to a mix of popular holiday songs on FM 104.3. Donations are also being collected for the Jackson County Animal Shelter and the Griffin Creek Elementary Library.
