GRANTS PASS, Ore. — More than three hundred foster kids will get a Christmas this year in Josephine County.
“Our Foster Kids” a non-profit organization is working with the Department of Human Services to hand out Christmas presents. Foster kids will receive everything from electronics to stuffed animals.
The idea behind these presents is so the case-workers can be Santa this year for those children.
“They don’t want the kids to know that it came from them. It’s just a time for the kids to get a gift and know that they’re loved. They ask for no recognition as we go out to the kids homes,” said Foster Certification Specialist Bob Hendrick.
The organization is still in need of toys and games for kids 8 to 12 years old. If you’d like to help donations are accepted through Christmas Eve at the Grants Pass Sterling Bank Branch. Click here for more information.
