GRANTS PASS, Ore. — Oregon State Police was one of the first to respond to Bear Camp Road Tuesday morning. OSP is assisting the lead agency in the case, the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office.
“I don’t know if there will be any criminal charges, but I’m not involved in that,” Sergeant Proulx said. “That’ll be in the investigation with witness statements, that sort of thing.”
OSP expects the results of the crash to be out in a few weeks. Wednesday, the investigation continued at the impound lot. Officials continued to examine Trader’s water tender.
News Watch 12 spoke to a spokeswoman for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. She says the agency is also doing its own examination, since Trader was involved in a crash while he was working. OSHA plans to talk to possible witnesses and supervisors, and will look over the equipment used.
