TALENT, Ore. — The Oregon Shakespeare Festival is extending its reach across southern Oregon and moving part of its operation to Talent.
A new facility near Talent Avenue and Rapp Road is nearly finished. The Shakespeare Festival said the costume rental department has already moved into the building, and the large space is also being used for set painters.
“Part of the paint shop is also there creating large drops,” said Amy Richard, OSF Marketing Director. “They can do the floors, they can do large drops over there because there’s more space.”
The entire facility should be completed by July. Richard said the prop and scene shops are also expected to move in to the new building later this summer.
