ASHLAND, Ore. — Friday night kicks off the first preview of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s 2013 Season. There’s several shows lined up this season and for the first play Friday night, NewsWatch12 spoke with one of the actors who will be performing in “Taming of the Shrew”.
The play is a comedy by William Shakespeare and Tasso Feldman is playing the part of Grumio. He said in the last several weeks the actors have been moving into the theater to rehearse. Feldman said he is excited to finally perform after several weeks of practice.
“We have the most passionate, intelligent, well-read, enthusiastic audiences. So it’s going to be really exciting to finally have them be part of the process,” said Feldman.
“Taming of the Shrew” will be performed throughout the 2013 season. Other plays people can look forward to are, “King Lear”, “Two Trains” and “My Fair Lady.” OSF officials said audience goers can purchase the Flex Pass; it’s a deal where you get five tickets for $129.
The last day to purchase that pass is February 28th. To get some of the deals, officials say the best way is to go online and sign up on their website.
