Oregon State Police Investigate Poaching

POACHER1NEAR MERRILL, Ore. — A reward is being offered for anyone with information leading to an arrest and conviction in a poaching case.

Oregon State Police Fish and Wildlife troopers are looking for information about a deer poaching case near Merrill. Troopers say a large deer was shot and left behind.

They say someone cut the deer’s head off to take as a trophy. It’s believed residents were familiar with this specific deer.

Oregon Hunters Association is offering a $250 reward. If you have information, you are asked to call 1-800-452-7888.
