SALEM, Ore. — Oregon will also be one of 10 states to put a new, higher minimum wage into effect for 2013.
As of the New Year, it will go up 15 cents, to $8.95. According to the National Employment Law Project, Rhode Island workers will see the hike.
Washington will soon have the highest minimum wage in the country, at $9.19 an hour.
