Oregon GOP To Get New Leadership

SALEM, Ore. — The Oregon Republican Party will get a new leader next weekend who will get to take a fresh stab at putting the party on a path back to relevance.

The GOP hasn’t won a statewide race in a decade, they control just one of five Congressional seats and is now in the minority in the House and Senate. Five candidates are running for chairman of the State GOP.

They all agree that something has to change, that Republicans have to do a better job communicating their ideas to the voters.

Perhaps if they had the interests of the people and not corporations they would be more relevent. Don’t see that happening as long as corporations are allowed to donate all they want. It is the money.
