Oregon Farm Bureau Collecting Photos

Oregon BountyMEDFORD, Ore. — The Oregon Farm Bureau is collecting photos as part of its annual “Oregon’s Bounty” calendar.

The bureau is inviting anyone to submit their high-resolution shots of agriculture. That could mean fields, production, people, retail, or just about anything related to farming or ranching.

Members of the bureau say the photos of are a way to get a glimpse into a big part of Oregon’s way of life.

“Those kinds of things are things that rural people do. And they sort of pass that tradition on down through the family,” said Farm Bureau Member Ron Bjork.

Those, whose pictures are selected for this month’s pages, will get a photo credit, copies of the calendar, and membership into the bureau. The deadline for this year’s entries is September 15th.
