MEDFORD, Ore. — People with disabilities have an opportunity to connect with local employers. For the seventh year in a row, the Options For Success event is empowering community members facing disabilities.
More than 200 people attended the first day of the two day conference Wednesday. The event connects attendees with resources for employment, and also includes several guest speakers.
“In inspirational speakers that have risen to the top of their fields while battling against disabilities and prejudice. We’ve come a long way we still have a long way to go. And it’s all about awareness and empowerment,” said HASL Executive Director, Randy Samuelson.
The conference continued on Thursday, kicking off a job fair.
