We have one more sunny to day ahead, although Friday will begin with fog for some valley locations. Friday also has the potential to cool low enough for certain areas to freeze, so a Freeze Warning will be up.
Fog is the other variation to the clear sky, but even in foggy areas the day will turn sunny. Temperatures will warm into the 60s for the coast, low 70s in the Basin, and mid 70s for the valleys.
Clouds begin to move over the area on Friday, and we’ll start with the first of many chances for rain as early as Friday evening. Cool air will move down from the Gulf of Alaska early next week, lowering snow levels considerably. Heavy rain is looking likely for the coast then, with some of that making way inland.
