One last day of hot temperatures will come today, before a cooler air mass slides into the Northwest. Clear skies will bring high temperatures into the mid 80′s over the West Side this afternoon & near 90 over Northern California. Another round of strong winds will develop as temperatures climb throughout the day.
An area of low pressure to our north will track eastward through the next 48 hours and bring some clouds into the Coast by tomorrow. This will bring temperatures in Brookings back to average values — the 60′s! This will be the first time in about a week that seasonal temperatures take back over. The marine layer will also return to the Coast in the morning hours these next few days.
The weekend will be beautiful — partly to mostly sunny skies with temperatures quickly rebounding into Father’s Day. Outdoor plans will be a go and temperatures will be more than comfortable.
