MEDFORD, Ore. — One of the two people involved in the Officer Involved Shooting on March 6 is due to be extradited back to Idaho. Shavon Ruth Willard, 32, pleaded no contest Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court to one count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, with a charge of possession of methamphetamine dropped in her case, according the Jackson County Circuit Court.
The two suspect’s vehicle rammed a law-enforcement car during the incident. Willard, and her accomplice Wayne Eugene Pearson, have been lodged in the Jackson County Jail since the incident. Judge Lorenzo Mejia assigned Willard to 18 months probation, but no extra jail time, starting the process for her extradition to Idaho.
Pearson remains in the Jackson County Jail and his trial is scheduled to begin Sept. 9, 2014, according to court records.
