Medford, Klamath Falls and Mt. Shasta are all on track for seeing the driest year on record! Compared to the normal precipitation in a given year North Bend, Crescent City and Mt Shasta are about 30 inches shy, Medford is about 8 inches while Klamath Falls is 9 inches short of average. In order to prevent the driest year ever Medford would need to recieve 1.46 inches by the first of the year to beat the old record set back in 1959, Klamath Falls would need 1.37 inches and Mt Shasta would need a whopping 4.22 inches to beat their record from 1976. Even if we see this much rain, it just means it will be the second driest year and not the first.
