We’ll get a break from the rain this morning with maybe an isolated showers or two at the coast or higher elevations with another cold front bringing rain to the area again this afternoon at the coast and this evening for inland areas. Most of the rain will be falling overnight tonight and early tomorrow morning. Tomorrow we’ll see another break with just scattered showers for most of tomorrow with rain again arriving late Saturday as another cold front approaches. This last system looks to be the best chance for widespread moderate to heavy rain to all areas, including areas that saw little to no rain yesterday in east Rogue Valley.
This front on Sunday will be the coldest of them all and will drop snow levels to 3,000 feet at times which means pass travel may be a problem late Sunday and Monday. Be sure to check road conditions before heading out. Monday most of the rain will be in the morning and along and west of the Cascades with only isolated showers on the east side and in northern California. Temperatures will rebound quickly Tuesday and five to ten degrees above normal for Wednesday! Wednesday we could see a few showers but this far out certainty is low. Showers could stay north of our area if high pressure strengthens just a bit.
