MEDFORD, Ore. — Legislators from across the region will be in Medford on Tuesday to hear from residents what the needs of local schools are. Josephine and Jackson County residents are invited to the North Medford High School Student Commons, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Superintendents from most of the two counties school districts will be on hand, as well as Oregon Representatives Peter Buckley, Sal Esquival, Dennis Richardson and Wally Hicks.
During the forum, participants will be able to share their ideas about needed changes. They will learn about the outlook for school funding and about changes that the state is making in education policy.
