CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. — Molalla Police Department located a missing child in a rural home in Clackamas County after the FBI released her photo on Saturday. Mariah Nichols is now in custody of the Department of Human Services.
Police say a Human Services worker saw the family flee with the baby during a welfare visit.
Police say 14-month-old Mariah had a 103 fever and an infection all over her face. Police say it all started when the parents first agreed to turn the baby over to a nearby urgent care clinic, instead they left the home and had been missing since Wednesday. Police found her at a rural home in Clackamas County investigators are interviewing her parents.
