Oakridge Student Arrested After Threats

Police-Lights-22-250x169OAKRIDGE, Ore. – The Oakridge Police Department says it arrested a student following threats to shoot other students at Oakridge High School.

Police say around 6 p.m. Monday they received information from students at the high school about threats made by another student to shoot students at the school.

Around 7 a.m. Tuesday, officers arrested a 15-year-old male student at his home without incident. Police say the threats were confirmed.

The teen was transported to the Department of Youth Services and lodged on the charges of disorderly conduct, harassment and theft.
