A break in storms overnight will allow for some fog to form, but it will not be as widespread or dense as previous days. The good news about the pollution levels is the levels have dropped into the good range.
Rain and mountain snow will return Wednesday night and Thursday. Snow levels will be 3,000 feet Wednesday, but will lower to 2,000 feet during the day on Thursday and Thursday night. This will create travel problems for the mountain passes. The valleys will remain in the rain, except for a slight chance for a few snow flakes early Friday morning before sunrise.
High pressure returns over the weekend, with fog and low clouds not far behind.
