Showers have now diminished across the area, however a light dusting fell across many areas in the Rogue Valley.Roadways are wet and now that skies are clearing this evening, freezing fog will develop and add to to the slick roadways. Be careful on bridges and overpasses particularly! A much more stable air mass moves into the area for New Years Day and brings mostly sunny skies to the entire region. High pressure remains in control through Wednesday before another system moves inland early Thursday morning. Once again, this is a splitting storm and be a little difficult to forecast for. As of now, it looks like most of the northern edge of the storm moves to our North, so most of the area may steer clear of any precipitation. Another high pressure ridge builds in for Friday!
