MEDFORD, Ore. — Southwest Point Shuttles has been running with several stops from Brookings to Klamath Falls for nearly 14 years. Now, they will have one more to help out air travelers in the area.
When United Express stopped flights in Klamath Falls at the beginning of the month, it left several travelers frustrated and without many options for air travel.
Southwest Point saw it as an opportunity to add another stop on their Klamath Falls to Brooking route. Now, travelers can take the shuttle from anywhere along the route to the Rogue Valley International Airport. Southwest point says the stop makes sense for their route, and administrators hope that it helps ease the transition for travelers out of Klamath Falls.
Beginning on June 25, the shuttle will depart from 445 S. Spring St. in Klamath Falls at 9:45 a.m., and will arrive in Medford at 11:35 a.m. Then, a return trip will depart from the airport at 5 p.m. and arrive back in Klamath Falls at 6:50 p.m.
